Brush and Tree Cutting to Slow SR 230 Traffic

One lane will be closed along SR 230 for brush and tree cutting in the rights of way Monday through Thursday, July 16-19, according to a Georgia Department of Transportation news release.

A marked car will assist drivers traveling throught the area.

Mowing Scheduled Along State Routes in Macon, Dooly Counties

The Georgia Department of Transportation announces routine maintenance activities planned for this week in Macon and Dooly County.

Mowing is scheduled along SR 49 and SR 90 in Macon County.

In Dooly County, mowing is scheduled along SR 27, 230, 215 and 257.

Most activities will only require shoulder or median lane closures.

Lane Closures Expected on I-75 North and South

A left lane will be closed along I-75 from Monday through Sunday, June 24 a Georgia Department of Transportation news release says.

The lane closure will be from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. nightly. That's between mile markers 109 and 127.

From Monday, June 4 through Sunday, June 10, a lane along I-75 will be closed for road maintenance, a Georgia Department Transporation news release says.

That's on both I-75 North and Southbound between mile markers 105 and 112.

Workers will be rehabilitating the inside shoulder lanes and installing drainage pipes on I-75.

From Tuesday, May 29 through Sunday, June 3 from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m., a lane along I-75 will be closed for road maintenance, a Georgia Department Transporation news release says.

That's on I-75 North and Southbound between mile markers 105 and 112.

Workers will be rehabilitating the inside shoulder lanes on I-75.

Pipe Installation to Close One I-75 Lane

One lane will be closed on both I-75 North and South between mile markers 105 and 117, a Georgia Department of Transportation news release says.

That's scheduled from Monday, May 21 through May 25 nightly from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. for drainage pipe installation.

 

Air Show Features Blue Angels

Air Show Features Blue Angels

ROBINS, AFB., GA.--The Air Show lineup features performers including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, F-18 Hornets, the C-130 Hercules, and the Air Force F-22 Raptor.

The air show is free and open to the public and starts at 11:30 a.m.

You can park at the Macon Airport, McConnell-Talbert Stadium and Anchor Glass and then catch bus transportation to the show. The shuttle starts at 9:45 a.m. both days and gates open at 10 a.m.

The shuttle runs until 5 p.m.
