Monday, city officials here kicked off Georgia Cities Week. The observance themed "The Magic of Cities this year gives the City of Vienna the opportunity to share information with citizens regarding the many valuable services provided to them by the city. The theme reflects the transformational properties of the city and how they provide quality of life through infrastructure, economic development and essential services.

REYNOLDS, GA.--Race fans: make your way out to Silverdollar Raceway in Reynolds, Georgia for a Pit Road Party the first Friday of each month.

Each Friday, there will be great door prizes, live music and of course, racing.

This is a fun, family oriented event, hope to see you there. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. the track is open from 7-11 p.m. and the band starts playing at 8 p.m.

This week's band is the John Brown Knuckleheads band (Heath, Denise and Marley Holly, Eric Newsome, Lee Helms, Shane Hinton)

The Georgia National Fair announces the band lineup for the free outdoor concert via Facebook Friday morning:

Good morning Fair Fans! We are excited to announce the bands for the free outdoor concert during Sneak-a-Peek, October 4. Do you like funk? Remember "Pick Up The Pieces" and "Cut The Cake?" With this unseasonably warm weather stretching for the entire length of the east coast and into the nation’s heartland, it is no wonder we are all digging in our closets to find our shorts and flip flops. If your digging turned into a full-fledged expedition into your closet (or the black hole as some of my clients refer to it as), now would be an excellent time for a little excavating!

The coming of spring and summer means the inevitable switching of your wardrobe in your closet and it is a great time to do a little decluttering of your clothes.  Here are a few things to consider when looking over your fall/winter clothes as you put them away and your spring/summer wardrobe as you welcome them to your closet again.  For each item, ask yourself a series of questions:
