Fullington Academy Collects 23 Pints of Blood During Blood Drive

Fullington Academy Collects 23 Pints of Blood During Blood Drive

We would like to thank the individuals who came out to donate blood at the annual American Red Cross Blood Drive at school this week.

We collected 23 pints of life saving blood!  We had quite a few people that organized the event, sent snacks and helped during the drive…we appreciate each and every person that volunteered!

In other school news, our students observed “Patriot Day” on September 11th by wearing red, white and blue to school.  We were honored to participate in the memory of those who lost their lives in New York City eleven years ago.  Our Agriculture students are busy in the greenhouse planting flowers for sale later in the year!

And, I’d like to invite everyone to a special event we have coming up.  There will be a Benefit Gospel Sing & Spaghetti Dinner for Allyson Gregory on Saturday, October 20th in the Lunchroom.
