Willis G. Sangster 1940-2012

Willis G. Sangster, age 72, of 6590 Tippettville Road, Vienna, died Monday, December 10, 2012, at his residence.

Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late J. R. C. Sangster and Ola Lane Sangster. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and sang in the choir. Mr. Sangster was the owner of Cotton Picker Rebuilders and was a former chief of the Dooly High Volunteer Fire Department.

Donald J. Bashew 1935-2012

Donald J. "Don" Bashaw, age 77, of 2999 Pine Street, Unadilla, died Monday, December 17, 2012, at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.

Born in Schenectady, New York, he was the son of the late William J. Bashaw and Dorothy M. Wooley Bashaw and a United States Navy veteran. He retired truck driver with Jevic Transportation, a member of the Moose Club of McDonough, the Unadilla Lions Club and the Coffee Club. Mr. Bashaw was a member of St.

Elsie R. Free, age 94, of 410 East Union Street, Vienna, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Lilly, she was the daughter of the late Pate S. Rowland and Mindie Margaret Lane Rowland. She was a member of Vienna United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class and was honored for 48 years of perfect attendance in Sunday School. Mrs.

Athlene White

Athlene White, age 80, of Pinehurst, died Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie W. White and Jessie Irene Gettys White.

Jim Braxton 1943-2012

Jim Braxton, age 69, of 268 Faver Road Vienna, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Flint River Memory Care in Macon.

Born in Greenville, North Carolina, he was the son of the late James T. Braxton, Jr. and Luna Mae Edwards Braxton. Jim graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Wilmington College where he played baseball and basketball. He was a professional baseball player, businessman, and farmer.

Foster W. Weeks, age 92, of 1369 Weeks Road, Vienna, died Thursday, October 4, 2012, at his residence.
