Sandra B. Giancola, age 70, of 1692 Old Concord Road, Marietta, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at her residence.

Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Samuel E. Bartlett and Willie Maude Watson Bartlett.

Brunell M. Allen, age 95, of Vienna, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Ollie C. Mitchell and Lelia Barry Mitchell. She was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church, the WMU and the Alathean Sunday School Class. Mrs.

Floyd "Buddy" L. Neighbors 1945-2013

Floyd L. "Buddy" Neighbors, age 67, of 308 Andrews Street, Vienna, died Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.

Born in Cherokee County, he was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. Buddy retired from Best Manufacturing and enjoyed car racing, working on cars and deer hunting. He also served on the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department.

Carrie Irene Johnson Wheeler

Carrie Irene Johnson Wheeler, age 91, passed away on February 24, 2013 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon. A Memorial service will be held at Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street on February 27, 2013 at 12:00PM, with The Reverends Jody and Julie Long officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, North Gate. Ms. Wheeler was born on April 12, 1921 in Sparta, Georgia and graduated from Sparta High School in 1939. She moved to Macon in 1947 where she was employed at Robins AFB in what was then the Directorate of Procurement. Ms. Wheeler was a member of the First Baptist Church of Christ and the Believer’s Sunday School Class. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, crafts, gardening, and shopping. She was an avid bridge player and a regular follower of Atlanta Braves baseball. Ms.
