UPDATE: I-75 South Reopened in Dooly County
The southbound lanes of I-75 in Dooly County are open again for travel.
The Georgia Department of Transportation website shows the accident has been cleared.
Earlier Thursday evening, the Georgia State Patrol Office in Tifton said all lanes of I-75 South near exit 117 were blocked.
An eyewitness reported being rerouted because of an accident involving an 18-wheeler, though a GSP operator could not confirm what kind or how many vehicles were involved.
The Georgia State Patrol said that one person was injured.
