Santa will have a busy weekend! He's coming to town in the parade.

Find out when and where to greet him in your neck of the woods on his parade route.

Macon: Sunday at 3 p.m. on Cherry Street

Warner Robins: Saturday at 10 a.m. down Watson Blvd. (Al Roker and his wife will grand marshal.)

Perry: Saturday, 4 p.m. on General Courtney Hodges Blvd.

Centerville: Lighted parade at 7 p.m. Saturday

Forsyth: Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.

Rhine: Saturday at 3 p.m.

Bolingbroke: Saturday at 3 p.m. downtown

Milledgeville: 3 p.m. Sunday, downtown

Gray: Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.

Byron: Saturday, 1 p.m.

Macon County Boys and Girls Club to receive $35K in donations

Macon County Boys and Girls Club to receive $35K in donations

The Macon County Boys and Girls Club receives a donation of $35,000 from Weyerhaeuser Tuesday.

According to a release, the check presentation happens Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m.

Last year, the National Guard donated their armory to the organization.

DNR aims to increase quail population

DNR aims to increase quail population

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources says they hope a partnership with numerous organizations in the state will boost the quail population.

Earlier this evening several groups signed the Georgia Bobwhite Quail Technical Team Memorandum of Agreement.

It's a mouthful, but what it means is that, DNR will provide free help to farmers or land owners that want to tailor their landscape to make it more quail friendly.
